Welcome to DNA Church! :-)

Finding a church that you call home can be a somewhat daunting and awkward task. Will there be uncomfortable times in a new church? Maybe, but we want to do all we can to avoid that if you come to visit.

Church is supposed to be like family--the kind that you like. Also, you get to choose this family.

So in a spirit of openness, love, and hospitality, here are answers to questions regarding a Sunday morning at DNA Church.

When and where is DNA Church?

DNA Church meets in a movie theater, Carolina Cinemas Asheville, located at 1640 Hendersonville Road, Asheville. Sunday worship starts at 10:30AM. The theater entrance is at a traffic signal which also serves Wendy's and Boston Market. (on your left coming from the downtown Asheville area, and on your right coming from Hendersonville or Long Shoals Road area)

Ok, I'm here at 10:30 on Sunday. Now what?

Park anywhere in the theater parking lot and enter through the theater doors on the left. There will be hot coffee and breakfast snacks as you come through the doors and usually our folks milling around and happy to see you. Please feel free to say hello. :-)

If you don't need coffee and want to head straight to the worship area, stay to the left down the hall by the stairs. There are usually signs out to help you find your way to the correct theater. Walk on in and have a seat!

What about my kids?

Kids and youth are most welcome at DNA Church! We love your kids in the service if you want to share that worship experience with them (the music and teaching are designed for this), but there's also a nursery and a separate worship service for kids pre-K through 5th grade. It has snack, age-appropriate Biblical teaching, and a craft. The nursery and kids' worship are located in a theater right across the hall from the adult service. What will the "service" look like?

As you might expect with a church that meets in a theater, the service is modern. There's usually a band of 3 to 5 people playing a variety of worship music, usually "contemporary" in nature although nothing is completely off-limits. :-)
